Parents and Advocates Cafes

CDI hosts a series of Parents & Advocates Cafes for parents, caregivers, and professionals to meet with special education lawyers and advocates to get their questions answered and resources to support their children’s needs. These are informal groups, open to the public (whether or not your children receive services from CDI) to speak with advocates, lawyers and child development professionals.

CDI’s Parents & Advocates Cafes are a great place to get your questions about your child’s transition from Regional Center services to school district services, to your child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP), when due process is necessary, and much more.  Café series are offered annually in the Spring and Fall.

One-on-One consultations are offered at the ELC Developmental Screening and IEP Consultation Days. Screening Day Flyer jan june 2017
